Nancy Robbins hosts the Liberty Cafe Show on Saturday nights from 7-9pm CST. Join her and her guests as they chat about politics, current events, activism, health, nutrition - no topic is off limits here! Nancy's interest in politics, history and current events got started when she was growing up and conversation around the dinner table was always about what was happening in the world. She got her Bachelor of Arts degree from Drake University in History and Political Science. Other than talking to people about world events and writing letters to the editor, Nancy didn't get really active until the Ron Paul grassroots campaign in Austin, Texas in mid-2007. Since then, she has helped to organize the largest Ron Paul meetup group in the country (now Austin Campaign for Liberty). Nancy had the epiphany during the Ron Paul campaign that ALL politics is local. Since then, her work has focused on other activist groups such as VoteRescue, Freedom Force International and became a steering committee member for the new GPAC, Texans for Accountable Government. She continues to work in as much activism as she can while providing a forum for people all over the world to listen in and talk about what's happening in their home towns. Nancy has a blog at TexasPatriot.wordpress.com.
